The Buttery Murder Mystery Dinner Last Monday Night

Our 4th Murder Mystery was a ball! A masquerade ball technically. Thanks to all our customers who dressed up and joined in the fun. Our volunteer suspects did a fantastic job! Roo Brown was "Jessica Fletcher" our crime solving expert. Leslie and Larry McDonald portrayed Ivan Radinsky and Baroness Maria Von Hoffburg Schlossbrunn while custumed as "Admiral Byrd" and "Madame Butterfly". Definite shout out to Mayumi from Mayumi's flowers for the assist in wrapping Leslie up in her Kimono! Nancy Joseph playing "Gretel Auerhahn", a loony clockmaker from the Black Forest, was festooned with feathers and tranformed into a CUCKOO bird. Charlie Joseph was our murder victim, "The Great Igor Radinsky", master of magic! Charlie worked the dining rooms performing amazing illusions prior to his untimely demise by an explosive device. Sorry Charlie! Ann Freeman conquered the role of Gwendolyn Jones, breeder of exotic animals, while masquerading as a queen. Decked out as a pirate, Richard Freeman was thrilled to be cast as "Roger Quigley" an Australian importer/exporter of questionable reputation but an accent Richard could produce with no problem! Perfectly clad with big hair and small sequines, Elaine Simmerman, the lastest addition to our thespian troupe, embraced the roll of "Jenny Featherstone", magician's assistant. Portraying showman extraordinaire "Budgie Benson" but dressed as a desert sheik, Joe DiRocco, our very own Buttery prep cook, stole the show and performed his "sand shoe shuffle" with muscial acompaniment by local composer, Guillermo Silveira. Thanks to our staff and cast for making the evening such a success and a special thanks to all our guests. This group gets an A+ for participation and enthusiam - 13 of you deputy inspectors named the right suspect. GOOD JOB !
