Why did we label this section “Taste It”, instead of something else
like “Food” or “Places to Eat”? Simple: only Taste It really
describes all the fantastic places, things and ways there are to
eat when you’re at the beach. Around here, whether it’s downtown
Rehoboth or Second Street in Lewes food is about more than just
piling a plate with random ingredients and flavors and going some
place to eat is about more than just filling up for energy’s sake.
But taste, well that’s about feeling, about communicating, about
socializing, about comfort, about reminiscing and for some, even
about art. So go ahead and enjoy yourself, here on line and when
you’re out at the beach – in Ocean City, Bethany, Dewey or any and
all places in between. Just make sure when you go out to eat, that
you savor every bite of food you take, appreciate every grilled,
baked and broiled aroma you smell and love every main street and
off beat eatery you find. In other words, taste it all!
